Dear Colleagues and friends
It is great pleasure to invite you to the Makassar Hepatopancreaticobiliary
Surgery Forum in Makassar. The meeting will be held at the Grand Claro Hotel
from October 24th to 26th, 2019.
Technology advancements and improvements in perioperative care have
contribute a lot in hepatopancreaticobiliary disease care. Anticipating rapid
growth in hepatopancreaticobiliary surgery, surgeons are expected to catch this
growth with having updated knowledge and insight.
For that reason, Makassar Hepatopancreaticobiliary Surgery Forum has invited
renowned hepatopancreaticobiliary specialists from Indonesia to talk the latest
information and updates on their areas of expertise.
We also would arrange a conference to share the knowledge in liver transplantation
procedure to the surgeons in Indonesia. Therefore, we have invited
Professor Hideki Ohdan, Professor and Head of Department of Gastroenterological
and Transplant Surgery at Hiroshima University, Japan to speak about liver
transplantation and share his clinical experience and technique for liver
We hope that all surgeons will be able to learn the latest information and refresh
their knowledge. The information gained at this meeting will hopefully allow each
of us to evaluate what and how to treat our patients and what we can do to
ameliorates the hepatopancreaticobiliary disease so we could go forward to a
better care for patients. We expect that patients with hepatopancreaticobiliary
disease will have a better clinical outcome.
